The Buffalo Soldiers M/C of Shreveport, Louisiana is a community-based club comprised of men and women from various aspects of community service—military, law enforcement, business leaders, professionals and others that are positive role models. The club was established for the purpose of building an organization in Louisiana that benefits the members, the community and the nation. We will accomplish this by fostering both unity and pride among brother and sister members as well as bringing together motorcyclists for motorcycling related activities such as mini excursions, club rallies, and other forms of motorcycling fellowship. We are committed to projecting a positive image of ourselves, adhering to, and upholding moral and ethical values by showing respect for each other and the community at large. All members are expected to educate themselves, and their community, on the history of the Buffalo Soldiers and to provide a positive image to our African-American youth, and serve as mentors whenever possible. Members are also expected to involve themselves, on behalf of the club, in community service activities. We will continue to look for new avenues to support our community. The Buffalo Soldiers M/C of Shreveport, LA, is one of 86 Chapters located in 34 states including Nova Scotia, Canada and Ontario, Canada. All Chapters are members of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club. This club does not claim any area or territory and rides to honor the hero's of the 9th and 10th Cavalries comprised of African Americans. We ride under the name of the "Buffalo Soldiers" to convey our pride and respect for the many accomplishments and positive contributions made by these great African American soldiers. Thank you for visiting our website. God bless and Godspeed. |
