Kalan “Professor” Washington founded the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club, Louisiana
Chapter in March of 2002.  

Approval for the chapter was granted on June 5th 2002 by a unanimous vote of the National
Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Clubs.  The N.A.B.S.T.M.C. currently
has 65 Chapters nationwide in 33 states including Nova Scotia, Canada and Ontario, Canada.  
The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Louisiana was incorporated in the month of June 2002.  

We are actively supporting charitable events and promoting "The Buffalo Soldier Legacy." A
few soldiers from our chapter serve as associate members of the 9th and 10th (Horse) Cavalry
Association.

Our Chapter's goals are:

  •        To become a positive influence in our community and to educate and inform our
      communities about the Buffalo Soldier Legacy.

  •        Mentor youth on the importance of Family, Education, Service to our community
      and History.

  •        Promote safe motorcycling.

  •     Instill camaraderie and sense of pride among motorcycle enthusiasts by promoting
      motorcycle rides and events.
