Our History

Club Overview

The Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club of Shreveport, Louisiana, Inc. is a community-based club comprised of men and women from various aspects of community service—military, law enforcement, business leaders, professionals and others that are positive role models.

The club was established for the purpose of building an organization in Louisiana that benefits the members, the community and the nation. We will accomplish this by fostering both unity and pride among brother and sister members as well as bringing together motorcyclists for motorcycling related activities such as mini excursions, club rallies, and other forms of motorcycling fellowship.

The Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club of Shreveport, LA  is one of over 100 Chapters located across the United States including Nova Scotia and Ontario, Canada.  All Chapters are members of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club. This club does not claim any area or territory and rides to honor the hero's of the 9th and 10th Cavalries comprised of African Americans.

We ride under the name of the "Buffalo Soldiers" to convey our pride and respect for the many accomplishments and positive contributions made by these great African American soldiers.
